LEGOLAND News

LEGOLAND Windsor plans to open NINJAGO World with NINJAGO The Ride in 2017 and have submitted a planning application for the new land and attraction.

NINJAGO The Ride is manufactured by Triotech, a world leader in media based interactive attractions, and features cutting-edge technology that enables guests to control the outcome of their adventure through the power of their hand gestures. Through 3D imagery, high-tech sensors and the use of hand movements in a striking motion, up to four riders per car, representing the four main NINJAGO characters, can blast animated fireballs, lightning, shockwaves and ice as they travel through dojos to master their skills before heading into battle. Riders collect points for their training and battle efforts throughout the ride and scores are displayed when their quest is completed. 4D effects such as heat, smoke and wind are also incorporated throughout the adventure, giving guests the ultimate interactive experience.

A new 4D film experience starring the LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS is coming to the Imagination Theatre at LEGOLAND Windsor from Saturday 28th May 2016.

In an immersive 4D animated adventure created especially for LEGOLAND, it’s up to the LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS to defeat the evil Jestro, the Book of Monsters and all their Lava Monsters, with wind, water and smoke bringing the battle to life all around the cinema. Visitors can also go on a quest of their own to discover six shields hidden across the theme park to unlock exclusive ‘power ups’ for the LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS Merlok 2.0 mobile app.

Emmet and the gang from The LEGO Movie will return in an all-new adventure opening Friday 11th March 2016, at LEGOLAND Windsor.

The LEGO Movie 4D A New Adventure reunites the popular characters of the smash-hit film from Warner Bros. Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures and LEGO System A/S in an original story featuring the same zany fun and excitement of the movie.

Plans for LEGOLAND Windsor's new Haunted House attraction have been approved, following a successful appeal against their previously rejected application. It will be similar to Ghost - The Haunted House which was new for 2014 at LEGOLAND Billund, featuring a spooky walkthrough experience and two 10m drop towers.

The new attraction will be located in the area between the Heartlake Express railway track and the footpath from the Coastguard HQ to Atlantis - Submarine Voyage.

Christmas 2015 promises to be the most festive yet at LEGOLAND Windsor, jam packed with more rides and attractions, awesome Christmas themed activities and more seasonal family fun around the park than ever.

Father Christmas and his elves will be visiting with an extra big sack of LEGO gifts for little guests on Saturdays and Sundays from 21st November and every day from 12th December until 23rd December.
