News from UK Theme Parks

Paultons Park - home of Peppa Pig World, has become the first UK amusement park to achieve the title of ‘the UK’s best-rated amusement park’ in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards, for three consecutive years.

It was also awarded the ninth best-rated amusement park in Europe and 24th in the world. 

On Tuesday, July 24 TripAdvisor announced the winners of its Travellers’ Choice Awards, where the winners were selected based on reviews and star ratings of visitors. An algorithm was used in order to determine the top 10 list, and took into account the quantity and quality of reviews for amusement parks and water parks in the UK, gathered over a 12-month period.

Dreamland Margate has now opened 8 new rides for 2018.

Each of the additions to the park have been supplied by the ride manufacturer Zamperla.

One of the oldest surviving amusement parks in the UK, Dreamland is a world-class visitor attraction offering all the fun of a festival for the whole family. Located opposite the golden sands of rejuvenated Margate, visitors to Dreamland can enjoy vintage, family and thrill rides, pop-up entertainment, live music and art installations, alongside eclectic bars and street food.

Step back in time to the Ice Age at West Midland Safari Park and walk amongst the magnificent creatures that roamed the Earth millions of years ago.

We recently visited the park to check out the new £1 million attraction, an array of animal encounters and some rides in the Adventure Theme Park.

The world’s first Peppa Pig theme park attraction, Peppa Pig World, is now bigger and better, and Paultons Park invited us to the grand preview event.

Fans of the TV series will be snorting with delight when the expansion with 2 new rides, The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride and Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club, is available to the public from Wednesday 16th May 2018.

Construction starts on the new £37 million Gulliver's Valley family theme park resort in Yorkshire which is due to open in 2020.

The 333-acre site was purchased from Rotherham Council back in 2015 and the first buildings will start appearing from June.
