Pleasure Island, the family theme park in Cleethorpes, will be closing down at the end of the 2016 season.

The park opened in 1993 and was originally a subsidiary of Flamingo Land but the park became independent in 2010.

The UK’s original pleasure park, Dreamland Margate, once again transforms into a world of nightmares with the major scare festival, Screamland.

The multi-award winning Screamland will be back and more terrifying than ever! For the second year in a row, Dreamland will be transformed into Screamland, with fully immersive scare experiences throughout the park, as well as unlimited use of all your favourite rides.

It's never been a better time to visit Flamingo Land in Yorkshire, as the UK’s only combined theme park, zoo and holiday village introduces a swashbuckling new live show, exclusive animal encounters, improvements to the leisure complex and premium accommodation.

Flamingo Land has launched the The Pirates of Zanzibar, a spectacular performance on the Black Heart galleon stage. The live show tells tales of swashbuckling Tanzanian pirates’ adventures, and features acrobatic sword-fighting action and plenty of special effects. It takes places 3 times across the day - 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
