Nemesis Reborn at Alton Towers

The iconic 30-year-old Nemesis roller coaster at Alton Towers has re-opened this year with a bold new look.
The heart-pounding attraction has undergone the biggest overhaul in its 30-year history and is now known as Nemesis Reborn.
Part of the huge transformation has seen the entire 250-tonne, 716-metre-long, track replaced as well as a complete update of the beast which gives the ride its name.
Safari Kingdom at Gulliver's Kingdom

A wild new themed area at Gulliver's Kingdom ready to explore in 2024, featuring rides and an outdoor play area.
Safari Kingdom attractions include:
- Drop Tower - For the full theme park experience discover the incredible Drop Tower at Gulliver’s Kingdom. The anticipation builds as you prepare for a daring drop.

Polar Express at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach

Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach has opened a brand new 'Musik Express' fast-paced circular ride, similar to Mulan which closed in 2019 after 20 years at the park.
Located on the famous Golden Mile and spread over a 9-acre site, Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach offers huge family fun, including full-throttle white knuckle rides to exhilarate and fun rides to keep children happy for hours.

Frontier Falls at Drayton Manor promises an unforgettable adventure for guests of all ages in an exciting new Wild West themed land.
All theme park enthusiasts should prepare to saddle up and experience the excitement of the Wild West like never before!
- Falls Theatre: a state-of-the-art 4D venue showcasing an iconic Looney Tunes show. Guests will be transported to into the zany world of their favourite characters - Wile E Coyote & Road Runner - as part of a sensory experience.

Upside Down House at Gulliver's Kingdom

Gulliver's Kingdom has opened a new attraction that defies gravity – step inside and discover the peculiar interior!
Gulliver's Kingdom is a family theme park in Matlock Bath catering for families with children between the age of two and thirteen. All of its rides and attractions are designed to offer the whole family a full day out of fun.
Minifigure Speedway at LEGOLAND Windsor

LEGOLAND Windsor has opened its fastest roller coaster yet – Minifigure Speedway.
Racing into the park, Minifigure Speedway is the UK’s first LEGO duelling coaster and features Team Legends and Team Allstars cars that race forwards and in reverse, with a winning team every time!
Reaching speeds of up to 56km/h, the duelling roller coaster design has been inspired by the world’s great Speedway circuits, where racers will be immersed in a track like no other.
Ghost Ship at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach

A new 52ft tall Ghost Ship opened at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach in time for the May bank holiday, swinging passengers in a pendulum motion.

The Wave at Drayton Manor

Drayton Manor has unveiled The Wave, their newly transformed roller coaster formerly known as Shockwave.
The exciting new attraction has maintained many of Shockwave’s original features, meaning riders can still race up to high speeds of 53 mph, experiencing up to level 4 G-Force at 12 feet high. What's more, the reimagined Wave ride includes four inversions, unique zero-gravity roll and a double corkscrew structure - all bound to get pulses racing.
With a brand-new train featuring lap restraints designed to secure you in, the ride is now accessible to more ‘young thrillseekers’ than ever before thanks to its reduced 1.2M height restriction. Guided by the legendary reps of Saltwater Soul Travel Co, visitors can enjoy the adrenaline-pumping world of surfing through a new experience, combining the most thrilling waves from around the world.
Vertigo at Adventure Island

Rocket Rollercoaster at Lightwater Valley

Space helmets on, set your orbit for Lightwater Valley and let's get intergalactic! Embark on an out of this world adventure and soar above the park. With gravity defying twists and turns, this coaster is perfect for the older kids looking for adrenaline!
Lightwater Valley is a fun-filled day out with over 35 rides and attractions for the under 12's.
Splash Lagoon at Paultons Park

New water ride Splash Lagoon has officially opened in the Lost Kingdom at the award-winning family theme park, Paultons Park.
Splash Lagoon is a family-friendly water boat ride that takes young explorers on a Jurassic adventure in Paultons Park’s dinosaur-themed world, Lost Kingdom. The new family flume is complete with meandering rapids and an exciting drop into a prehistoric lagoon below. Splash Lagoon offers an exciting ride for junior thrill-seekers and their parents.
Paultons Park, located in the New Forest in Hampshire, is renowned for its attention to detail and theming. The Lost Kingdom themed land catapults families back to a long-forgotten era, using animatronic dinosaurs, sound effects, planting and live shows, to create a captivating prehistoric landscape.
Hyperia at Thorpe Park

Thorpe Park has launched the UK’s tallest and fastest roller coaster – Hyperia.
Please note: Hyperia is currently closed, and Thorpe Park are unable to commit to re-opening the ride before 8th June 2024.
‘Find Your Fearless’ on the brand-new and the UK’s tallest and fastest roller coaster, Hyperia!
The golden goddess will lift you to all-new heights, towering 236ft above the park. Take your seat and prepare for the journey of a lifetime, as you touch the sky, and glide over glistening waters at speeds of over 80mph.
Hyperia is unlike anything you’ve experienced before, featuring a world’s-first twist, Europe’s tallest inversion, and more weightless moments than any coaster in the nation!
Jolly Jockeys at Wicksteed Park

Wicksteed Park has opened its brand new Jolly Jockeys ride. The new attraction is located down at the lakeside and offers the chance to hit the saddle and gallop to victory in a horse race around a challenging circuit of twists, turns and fences.
In recent years the park has also added the all-new Galaxy Invaders ride, the Garden Wheel, Meerkat Manor and regular daytime shows featuring Wicky Bear and friends at Wicky Bear’s Theatre.
Wicky’s Farmyard also offers the chance to interact with giant rabbits, pigs, goats, barn owls, ferrets, ducks and guinea pigs in an animal-friendly enclosure.
All the park’s rides and attractions will be open each weekend in May and throughout the half-term and summer holidays, so you can enjoy rides like Dinosaur Valley and Rocky River Falls or favourites such as the Paratrooper, the Dodgems, the Train, Sway Rider and the Carousel.
