Room on the Broom - A Magical Journey at Chessington World of Adventures

Room on the Broom – A Magical Adventure will be replacing the Hocus Pocus Hall attraction.

Back for its fourth year, this chilling and thrilling event immerses visitors in a frightening world of interactive scare mazes set to horrify and haunt even the darkest soul.

We were invited to Dreamland Margate for a special preview event on Saturday 13th October 2018, and are delighted to report that Screamland once again offers a fantastic collection of theatrical attractions that are all completely original, highly creative and packed with scares.

Drayton Manor has confirmed that the G-Force roller coaster has now been retired from the theme park.

Alton Towers has confirmed that a brand new attraction will open within the theme park in 2019, The Alton Towers Dungeon.

The Dungeons invite you to delve into horrible history. Participants come face to face with live actors who provide laughs, scares and shocks through mini interactive shows and sometimes rides. There are elements of theatre, lots of jokes and plenty of special effects, plus historical storytelling by the iconic characters themselves.

Alton Towers offered us a VIP experience at this year's Scarefest and with a brand new fourth live action scare maze in 2018 we gladly accepted.

The theme park is open 10am - 9pm every day throughout the event - giving you a whole 11 hours of scares. When night falls, it's an incredible opportunity to experience the best rides at Alton Towers in the dark, including Wicker Man.

Alton Towers Scarefest is the most well-rounded Halloween event at a UK theme park, with something for all ages and levels of fright, combined with a world-class collection of roller coasters and several other rides that are perfectly suited to the season.

The UK's ultimate Scream Park returns for 2018 with nine attractions, two live music stages, street theatre, fire pits, food stalls and bars. Tulleys Shocktober Fest is without question the biggest and best Halloween festival in the UK.

We were invited to the press night where a host of celebrity guests and other VIPs hit the red carpet and braved the terrifying haunts.

With the promise that this year nowhere is safe, we were delighted that Thorpe Park asked us along to the Fright Nights media event.

In a substantial revamp of the lineup for 2018, there are three new horror mazes and two new character encounters, plus other improvements.

Fright Nights also provides an opportunity to ride Thorpe Park's fantastic collection of roller coasters and thrill rides in the dark.

Xtreme Scream Park, a multi-award winning event at Twinlakes Park, returns this Halloween promising to deliver more spine-tingling and startling fun, bigger and better than ever before.

This year hot from winning 'Best Halloween Attraction' at the ScareCon Awards for last year’s newest monster of a maze, The Village, the Xtreme team have been incredibly busy preparing their terrifying line-up. We were invited to the opening night on 28th September and given the VIP treatment to experience the event.
